SOLD - Perkin Elmer LS 55 Fluorescence/Luminescence Spectrometer, Includes Computer and Accessories, Software, and an Extra Cuvette Holder, 120VAC

SOLD - Using the principle of "computer controlled ratioing," the Perkin Elmer LS 55 Fluorescence/Luminescense Spectrometer (P/N L2250117) can measure fluorescence, phosphorescence, chemilumiinescence and bioluminescence. It works with the FL Winlab Software, which is preinstalled on a Dell computer (included, along with associated peripherals, cables and power cords). This instrument allows several methods of operation, including constant energy synchronous spectral scanning, excitation, emission, and constant wavelength synchronous program.

Condition: Excellent, clean, previously-owned, used; includes software and manual, a computer, a screen, a keyboard, a mouse, and associated cables and power cords. A microplate carrier is currently attached to the equipment. It also includes a cuvette accessory attachment. This equipment was serviced for preventive maintenance three (3) months before it was decommissioned. The instrument was found accurate and fully operational by the service engineer; however, interested buyer will want to conduct onsite calibration and consider procuring one or more additional light source. Sold "as is." Buyer is responsible for determining the suitability of this product for their application.

Synchronous Scanning:Available with constant wavelength or constant energy difference.
Spectral Bandpass:The excitation slits (2.5-15.0 nm) and emission slits (2.5-20.0 nm) can be varied and selected in 0.1 nm increments.
Phosphorescence Mode:Delay and gate times can be varied to measure phosphorescence. Minimum total period 13.0 ms (50 Hz).
Scanning Speed:Selected in increments of 1 nm for 10-1500 nm/min. Time-dependent data can also be collected.
Emission Filters:Computer selectable cut-off (high-pass) filters at 290, 350, 390, 430 and 515 nm, a blank (to act as shutter), a 1% T attenuator and clear beam position.
Sensitivity:Signal to noise is 500:1 r.m.s., using the Raman band of water with excitation at 350 nm, excitation and emission bandpass 10 nm.
Standard Cellholder:A single position water thermostattable holder for 10 mm cuvettes.
