SOLD - Clean and decommissioned at the time of acquisition, this previously-owned Metrohm Titration System is composed of the following units/parts:

1. Metrohm 730 Sample Changer, P/N 6.2041.380, with a a tower, a pump connection (note: no pump), and two stirrer connections, featuring:

• One (1) each 14-position sample tray, P/N 6.2041.380; clean with slight stain due to previous use but does not affect the operational integrity of the unit. This sample rack accepts 150mL beakers (not included, but are available for an extra charge).
  
  
• One (1) each Metrohm 722 Rod Stirrer, P/N 2.722.0020, mounted on the tower lift; good condition and clean. The propeller stir shaft (P/N 6.1909.010) is intact. Stirring speed for a new unit (measured in 30mL water with one electrode) is rated by Metrohm at 440 to 2800 rpm.
  
  
• Ports built into the system: (a) one remote control socket connection (female) for a 25-pin cable; (b) two stirrer sockets; (c) one 37-pin external bus socket (female) on the back of the main unit; (d) one external bus address selector; (e) one 25-pin male port connection; and (f) one keyboard port.
  
  
• Tube lines - all flushed out and cleaned.
  
  
• Tower, guide chain, distribution head, valve and pump of the 730 sample changer - all clean and intact.
  
  
• Built-in beaker indicator/sensor to detect a beaker in front of the tower after each MOVE position.
  
  
• Electrical Requirements: 115VAC, 50/60Hz, 40VA.
  

• Interface control - sends signal remotely to control peripheral devices or transmit data via the RS-232 serial interface.
  
  
• Interface scan - displays the condition of the remote control lines or the received data of the serial interface.

• Dosimat control to enter a volume to be dispensed or press a function to execute on the keyboard.

This model can connect to one or two Metrohm 685 titrating burets (one buret for acid/base titrations, another for precipitation titration). A third connection is optional for a Karl Fischer moisture determination.
  
  
• Capability for linking titration methods (e.g., multiple measurements and titrations, alkalinity and chloride, sulfate and chloride, alkalinity and hardness) or titrating burets for the same sample.
