LabCommerce carries the Yamato Scientific product line of autoclaves. The Yamato SQ500 is ergonomically designed to enable easy access of parts inside the autoclave. It uses an automatic high-pressure steam sterilization system and it runs on 100V-120VAC and 20.5A-24.5A.
Internal capacity is 1.8 cu. ft. (50L) and maximum working pressure is rated at 36 psi or 0.255 MPa. The temperature varies, depending on the application being used, i.e.: - 45-135°C for general operation
- 45-60°C for preheating
- 40-60°C for warm temperature
- 65-100°C for melting
- 105-135°C for sterilization
The Yamato SQ500 has a temperature controller with digital setting. Additionally, its safety features include a malfunctioning sensor, an alarm for empty drain bottle, interlocking lid, and a pressure relief valve (36 psi or 0.255 MPa).
