Made of 304 stainless steel, the Yamato SM300 is sleek in design, with casters for ease of mobility. Its sterilization temperature ranges from 105°C to 128°C, and its drying temperature ranges from 150°C to 180°C. Maximum operational pressure is 29.0 psi (the gauge reads in megapascals).

The Yamato SM300 requires 1700 Watts for sterilization and 1500 Watts for drying. It has a timer, with settings of 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes, and 100-999 hours.

Safety features include self-diagnosis (e.g., sensor, heater, main relay, low water), overpressure safety valve, and electric leakage breaker.
