The 730 Sample Changer has the following capabilities:
- Interface control - sends signal remotely to control peripheral devices or transmits data via the RS-232 serial interface.
- Interface scan - displays the condition of the remote control lines or the received data of the serial interface.
- Report printing.
- Dosimat control to enter a volume to be dispensed or press a function to execute on the keyboard.
- On/off stirrer control and pump control.
- Definition of the first sample position of a series.
- MOVE position to place a beaker in front of the tower.
- Lift control.
Clean and decommissioned at the time of acquisition, these previously-owned Metrohm 730 Sample Changer and Titration Systems include the following units/parts:
1. Metrohm 730 Sample Changer, Type 1.730.0010/28160, 100-120VAC/200-240VAC, 50/60 Hz, 40 VA. It includes the following parts:
- 50-position sample tray (P/N 6.9920.024) with additional two (2) slots for custom-sized beakers.
- Tower/guide chain with five (5) tube lines (all flushed out and clean).
- Pump connector (no pump).
- Magnetic stirrer.
- Ports on the rear and on the side: (a) external bus, (b) power, (c) address, (d) RS 232, (e) Dosimat ports, and (f) keyboard/SC Controller port.
- Power cord.
2. Metrohm SC Controller Keyboard (pendant), P/N 6.2142.010, featuring a control panel with digital display window.
3. (SOLD - no longer available) - Metrohm 799 GPT Titrino, type 1.799.0010, S/N 03176, featuring:
- Digital display window for values.
- Two data storage and retrieval methods: (a) built-in internal memory method, and (b) external memory method via a memory card (two memory cards are included). See memory card slot in front of the unit.
- Knob control.
- One (1) each Metrohm 799 GPT Titrino (SOLD - NO LONGER AVAILABLE) keyboard, P/N 6.2132.100, with built-in plug/connector.
- Built-in ports: (a) two RS 232 ports, (b) one keyboard port, (c) one remote control port, (d) two ports for Dosimats; e) one stirrer port, (f) one power port, and (g) six other ports.
- Capability for linking titration methods (e.g., multiple measurements and titrations, alkalinity and chloride, sulfate and chloride, alkalinity and hardness) or titrating burets for the same sample.
- One (1) each power cord.
- One (1) each 5mL Exchange Unit (base plate), P/N 6.3026.110, S/N 11180083, with the following parts: (a) two plastic tube holders; (b) one Idrolyte Electrode, P/N 6.0224.100, pH1...11/0...60
